Nnamdi and Revis are talking about being on the same team and sound serious about it potentially happening. If he can be pried away from the Raiders BB needs to work his magic on old uncle Al if only to keep him off the Jets. I'm also sticking with my preseason prediction that Seymour is a Jet next year.

Unless Seymour want to take a HUGE discount, there is absolutely no way he will be a Jet in 2010. Being a final 4 team, the Jets are restricted from singing any big priced free agents this offseason. If the Raiders don't franchise Seymour, my bet is he will either end up in KC or Denver. He definitely won't go to the Jets.
As for Asomugha to the Jets, it is great Pro Bowl talk, but it will never happen. At least until he or Revis start to decline so the Jets or someone else can afford both under the cap. It ain't happening any time soon.

Asomugha has 2 years left on his deal with the Raiders, so what he wants is irrelevant. He'll be 31 at that point, Revis will be in a contract year, and if the Jets want to shell out $25+M/year on the CB position then let them go ahead and do it.

As a final eight team, the JEST cannot trade for a player that they could not sign as a free agent.

Well, in theory they could trade for a franchised Seymour, but Davis wouldn't settle for less than a first round pick and more for him to save face. I doubt Davis would give a discount for him.

What I have to say about this would just be filtered out or get me reprimanded, so suffice it to say, I do not want to see an AFCE that has both Revis & Asomugha. Unless Nnamdi was on our roster, of course...

In that case, I would love to see Seymour on the Jets.
revis is put in a good situation to succeed. the jets bring alot of pressure forcing a QB to beat them with there 3rd and 4th option. so its not all him.
put revis is our team and it will be lit up lol.

If the Jets pick up Lito's option bonus this offseason, they won't need Asomugha to make that happen. If Revis opts out of his deal after next year (which he will), the Jets will have to give him a new deal at huge coin or buy back the last 2 years of his rookie contract. So in 2012, the Jets could be paying over $22M for Revis and Sheppard.
