Default Updated cap status - March 2

ESPN's John Clayton just reported the update cap status of all 32 teams as of Thurs. March 2. These numbers reflect the final $94 million league-wide cap announced yesterday and reflect yesterday's transactions.

The Pats are now $4 million under the cap.

Even though the situation is in fast flux ... this is highly topical.
Therefore ... bump.

Clayton's not "changing his tune". He gets the numbers from the league office. Since yesterday's numbers, the league finalized the cap number ($94.5 million) and a number of teams made roster moves. Today's list reflects that activity from yesterday afternoon.

Things are in such flux that it isn't particulary comment-worthy about his numbers, but I have to wonder if he has the Redskins and Colts numbers correct. According to other speculations in the media, those two clubs might be in more difficulty that his number would imply. Who knows.
