Default We need a new idea...

I'm bored.
The Pats should've won it all.
They blew it.

I'm still annoyed about it, even though I can live with it.
It's just a shame.

Anyway, I was thinking, someone needs to think up something
for football fanatics to do during the offseason.

It's a long ways to the draft...

Maybe something like fantasy football, but it would have to be something
you can enjoy during the offseason.

anyone got any good ideas?

A while back someone started and All-Conference challenge (SEC, ACC, Big-10, etc.) Build an NFL team using players from one NCAA conference.

Maybe an all Day-2 team? Have to leave out Houston, Cleveland (current), Jax, and Carolina (not enough history to make it fair). 28 teams, using their draft history for rounds 4 and later, back as far as the merger.

Get the NFL channel if you do not already have it.......

Watch the Scouting Combine
Watch the draft
Watch free agency
Watch the CBA get done
Scour Patsfans.com, ESPN, NFL.com, Reiss, Felger, Curran, PFW, Patriots.com etc for any and all football news and patriot related content.
Watch the rookie symposium
Watch the owners meeting coverage
Watch rookie camp
Finally, training camp
Pre season games and then.....

FOOTBALL 2006 will be upon us before you know it.

Do what BB does with his coaches when they go on vacation in July, he gives them all different books to read and report back on when they come back for training camp!

I am reading Management Secrets of the New England Patriots I and II. I would also recommend America's Game, Tales from the Patriots sidelines, Education of a Coach and Patriot Reign!
