No. I think that's way to early.

In general, we draft for one to two years in the future. It seems that we have a huge hole at center/guard (much larger than the interior linemen give our running backs).

I agree that BB would like to, if he can, draft for positions one to two years early.

What are the glaring holes and the most difficult to fill, in one to two years? Easy.

A) OLB/DE/Elephant i.e. Willie McGinnest's position
B) ILB i.e. Tedy Bruschii's position.

That's why I want a) Manny Lawson b) Bobby Carpenter; and I don't care what they use to trade up to get both The Pats have an excess of draft picks and not enough places to put them all. I don't want to draft to stock Houston, SF, and AZ, after the final cuts!

Powerful insight.

You might add Santonio Thomas to that list...I'd give him as good a shot at the roster as Klecko, anyway.

Gene Mruczkowski?

How could you forget him!

I'll say it again: 2006 will be the emergence of both Gene and James Sanders.
