The guy is a warior and came back after 4 weeks. He's the next Andre Tippet.

I'm really concerned about the offense as well. I understand Brady could be playing hurt and all but, why do we not use the TEs? Does he not see them or what? Every play, or like 90% of our offense every single flippin' game is Moss-Welker non stop with a hint of Watson or Aiken. Where are the screens, short passes, etc ? If the bomb isn't there and the lanes aren't open for the RBs, this offense goes nowhere.
Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson, definitely. No one else is obvious, even now. No one else is obviously better ove the course of a season.
Are you kidding, the best receiver in the league right now, is Desean Jackson. He is crazy good. At this point, I would also take Reggie Wayne over moss.
Meriweather didn't try and tackle. He went for the big hit.. Which is bad.. And I am sure he'll get reamed about it..
Started off the season seriously improved. Has regressed. Coaches need to address.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH

Bingo.
They rushed Mayo back way too soon. I don't expect him to regain top form until next year, after he's had adequate rest.

I've been a DeSean Jackson fan for a long time, and I agree he is crazy good, but I think it's debatable. I think of him as more of an all-purpose weapon than a WR, which may be why I left him out (didn't really even think of him, to be honest). In the long term I'd agree with you.
Wayne over Moss is very arguable right now, and I debated listing him as well, but I'd still take Randy. And I certainly didn't think it was clear cut. Whereas I think that Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson and Calvin Johnson have established themselves as the elite #1 WRs right now in the league.

I understand the congratulations to the DC. However, I suspect that the congrats is somewhat misplaced. I did not see the samse defense today as in past weeks. I saw a defense from 2003 and 2004, with the front seven all standing up until the last second and with lots of variation and disguise of who was going to attack the quarterback. We may never get confirmation, but I suspect that Belichick had more to do with this game plan than those in previous weeks.
If the fact is that Pees has seen the light, then congrats to Pees.
5. Moroney is pretty much shutting up the haters. Good for him...though I'd like to see more of him in the passing game
I love the way he's running now. Very decisive and he is pushing people backwards. This is what I wanted to see out of him and now he seems like he's making smaller defenders think twice a bit before they tackle him because they know it's gonna hurt!
7. That being said, I thought the DC did a very good job, given the injuries he had to deal with. The blitzes were effective, and the disguises were good enough that even when we only rushed 4 or 5, we got good pressure.
I loved the pressure on the QB today. I'm sure that in large part it had to do with the Bills OL being pretty poor considering all of their injuries, but the aggressive scheme especially on third and long was awesome. Let's see if they can keep that type of pass rush on a QB who they actually feel is a deep threat though.
8. Is it just me, or is anyone else "underwhelmed" with the play of Jerard Mayo this season. Can you think of a single play in recent games that he made that made you go "wow". I can't.
I have to agree with you here to an extent. I've seen lots of times when he's had trouble shedding blockers.
Oh, on Ghost's kickoffs: Do any of you think it has something to do with the new wedge rules? Unless he's hurt, I was wondering if the shorter kickoffs allowed our special teams guys to cover a kickoff the returner without him being at full speed yet? NOt sure about this but has anyone noticed any difference in the trajectory of the kickoffs and whether or not they are a touch higher then before?

A simple calculation involving the kicking distance, hangtime, and gravitational effect (9.8 meters/sec^2) reveals that this is indeed the case.
