When a player cannot lift up his arm after a tackle it is a pretty good indication that it is a shoulder injury. I have seen him do it the past few weeks too.

Why has he been practicing everyday during the week and it hasnt appeared on the injury report then?

If the player practices it does not need to show up IIRC

Anybody who thinks getting rid of Randy Moss is a legitimate option is a fool

He is one of the league leading receivers with injruies through the season and a rusty QB through plenty of those games.

The whole "Moss opens up Welker" debate works both ways. Without Welker on the field for his few games opposing defenses could focus more than they already do on the deep threat since Welker wasn't around to gouge them on short routes.

The knee jerk "RANDY MOSS IS LAZY AND DOESN'T CARE" response people are showing because he was late to a meeting and doesn't lay into people like Hines Ward blows me away

but to question Randy's motivation, usefulness, and contributions? The guy has played hurt for a good part of the season (his left shoulder is messed up...anyone who watches him after a catch or tackle can tell by his body language) and He still has pretty good results even though he is fighting double coverage most of the game. I have not seen anything to make me think he is not the RM of 2007. Brady was overthrowing him in the beginning of the season and with no Wes it made it easier on opposing defenses to cover him.

I personally think Randy's critics don't have a leg to stand on right now. He is doing as well as one could hope.

Again this is just my opinion.

Agree 100%, this is what I said in another thread:

Moss stays.

Lost in all this turmoil is that his issues are NOT an effort thing, I believe it's about his health. While he's no longer listed on the report, it's not a stretch to assume he's still facing the injuries he was earlier in the year. With that in mind, Moss should be COMMENDED for playing through these injuries. Sure, it's affecting his play somewhat (haven't seen that jumping ability in a while), but the guy has clearly been in pain for multiple games this season and fought through it.

Randy dandy? Don't be fooled by Pats' latest project - NFL - CBSSports.com Football

"Randy Moss," said an AFC offensive coordinator, "is probably the best wide receiver in football ... when he wants to be. And that's the problem. He's someone who can get a team going, but if he sees his team going nowhere he quits."

"The bottom line is that he can still run, but if he gets frustrated early in the game he gets sloppy, and you can read his pattern progression easier."

This is waht we are seeing too much this year. It seems he is jogging a lot and half hearted blocking. The reason why people hate on him so much is BECAUSE he is so GREAT. We don't hate on Welker because the guy goes 100% every time you see him. Welker has what 1/2 of Moss' natural talent. Welker has more quickness and you could argure hands but that is it. If Moss played the game with Welker's heart (or Troy Brown for that matter) waht could Moss do? Could he have taken the INt away form the Miami DB in the end zone last week? Maybe. Maybe not. It would just be nice to see him try.
