This could be a biggie. I've heard some discussion that scouts should not be allowed to change teams until after May 1.

This guy could have the info on all of the draft and FA players that the Patriots are interested in. After the draft and AF period they should be allowed to change teams.

He's been targeted a couple of times now that Pioli extended. It is inevitable that the Patriots will be raided, but take a good look at how the Belichick grows; there are coaching and personnel branches, showing that BB builds a team with at least three elements, Coaching, Personnel Management, and Players.

I don't mind guys moving up. In fact , I like to see good peple improve themseves.

But, this is a little different. After May 1st they should be allowed to move but not before that.

That would be nice Nut, but it is what it is, thankfully much of the heavy lifting has been done, now its down to the sifting. Losing Dimitroff won't slow that with the organization he's built - just hope he doesn't want to take any of the staff with him!

Didn't we just loose a major scout guy a couple of years ago? Geez we're getting mined at all levels!

Our scouts are worth a lot since we do our own evaluations, and don't belong to the various evaluation groups that do the work for the other teams.
