Default How does the defense react?

Its got a lot of rookies, its got a lot of new players....who dont know BB that much

after going for it on that 4th and 2....how does this defense react?

BB is a great coach, but how does he keep this defense on his side? He will have to do something.

I hope he apologized to them after the game, and told them he wont be making that mistake again

Its not that i didn't agree with the move, I would also go for it on 4th down....I would have ran it on both 3rd and 4th down (instead of doing the shotgun) but thats beside the point

You lost the game b/c you did not show confidence in your defense.....how do you get them to play for you?

Sure they faced a top 5 QB of all time, even though....BB has to make amends

It's a shame he lost confidence in Gostkowski during that other game. I can't believe he cut Gostkowski right after that game and signed . . . oh, wait. . . .

Fine.......

It was not about the defense, it was about putting the ball in your best players hands, if he made the first down, which many believe he did, none of this idiocy would continue...

This sounds like Tom Jackson stuff...

Why would you apologize when you agree with the decision ?

Your thinking is a little quirky to me on this. The odds were in our favor of converting, that's really all there is to say or know.

How do they react? To the best of their ability. Seriously, this isn't the same team from '03-'04 where they would take it out on the next opponent they'd play. They're thin at DL and don't' have a pass rush.

Belichick already told the media what he said:

"I'm going to put you in the best position to win the game."

He chose to go with Brady instead of the D. Unless the defense thinks they can make a bigger play than Brady, then how can they argue with Belichick?

That's what it comes down to.

Thank god that Tedy Bruschi and Rodney Harrison are not coaches for this team.

Yes, I'm more worried about the injuries than anything else.

Yeah, I'm much more worried about the physical beating we took than the physical one.

Correct. Essentially BB thought his offense could get a couple yards. If the D gets pouty about anything, they'll just have to grow up. I think BB will be able to navigate any emotional issues.
