Being a dolphins fan I must say it is getting quite tiresome watching welker and Moss run routes with such ease when all I see from my team is players dropping the ball.

I must admit Moss has turned into one class act of a player. He's grown up quite well.

i agree, lol, i didnt see any push off, and even if there was, davis had no way of getting to the ball....not unless he goes through moss...perfect ball, perfect grap

NO cb could have defended it

Moss stiff armed him in the face mask as he broke downfield with the ball...THAT must be what he was complaining about...and that stiff arm DID amount to a pushofff of about two yards which allowed Moss to easily score....tough if you're a rookie CB....moral being, if you don't want to get torched, don't let the WR stiff arm your face....jeez

Your Dolphins team is one breakaway threat at WR away from becoming a complete team.

Although Henne has much to prove as well,I think Pennington will not return next season.

i got kinda bummed out reading this thread. Kind of sad to know the truth.

As a kid, I remember watching the '85 superbowl, because I wanted to understand what the buzz was about, because after we beat Cincinnati, the fans tore down the goalpost and tried to carry it south on Route 1. They nearly got electrocuted when they tried to pass it under the power lines. That made the front page around here and was just about the only thing anyone talked about for quite a few days- in fact, the older the story got, the more fans you heard claim they were part of that famous procession.

But I tuned out, big time, in '90. '91 was the first time I can recall that I started getting excited about the Pats.. I remember how MacPherson used to charge the field with a rolled up paper in his fist.. that sob was always upbeat, no matter what. We got some major upsets over playoff teams, and you could just tell that the Franchise was turning around, and of course along comes Parcells.

But more than anything, I hated the Carroll years, he was such an unimaginative coach.. our offense was so one-dimensional, and don't get me started on Grier. I knew we were in trouble right away when they asked Carroll what he would rather be doing and he answered "coaching playground football" or something to that effect.

EDIT: I think there are some folks on here that remember the Fairbanks-Erhart days. Perhaps even the Boston Patriots.. those would be the real old timers.

well i appreciate your honesty. larry gannon was a running back and earthquake hunt was a dt. without looking, how about carlos pennywell or rod shoate or clayton weishuhn or tony collins or mighty mack herron or roland james or russ francis or andre tippett or ronnie lippet. i got more if you need it.
