Default KC interested in Herm Edwards

http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansas...s/13536227.htm

Interestingly its mentioned in a number of reports that the Chiefs would be willing to compensate the Jets with draft picks for Herm

I had thought they put an end to that following the BB to NE and Gruden to Tampa Bay swaps

Apparently they had a change of heart and "clarified" the matter

I hear they want him for his clock managment!

Your right Joe, I didn't think you can get draft picks for coaches anymore, but apparently you still can. Now here is the big question, what is Herm worth?

Some cleats and bag of footballs?

Conditional picks in the 2087 draft?

No word on whether the Jets are interested in dealing, but my sources tell me they are keeping all napkins far away from Herm.

PFT addressed the issue of draft picks for coaches too:

Herm Edwards is a bad coach...Dave Wanstad is better than him. K.C. is making a big mistake

From NY to KC? Talk about culture shocK! I will say that the way Herm relates to the players seems to follow in Dick V. formula. Other than that I think KC would be making a mistake looking at Edwards.
