Default 2010 draft pick tracker (after Week 4)

As always, good news and bad news:

Good news: TEN continues to be teh suck, and is now 0-4.

Bad news: Again, TEN and JAX continue to have awful SOS (in fact, JAX's is second-worst, only to New Orleans).

Thus, the Pats still have the lowest 0-4 pick and the lowest 2-2 pick (note, BTW, that it goes by win percentage, so 2-2 is better than 2-1-bye, but worse than 1-2-bye).

Thus, the current standings are:

Tennessee: #38 (prev: #39)
Jacksonville: #50 (prev: #48)

So, one pick moves up one slot, the other pick moves down two slots.

This does not include the result of the MNF game, which I think will have no effect (unfortunately, SD's loss puts them ahead of JAX in the second round).

Jax has an easy two of @ Sea and St. Louis coming up.

But the 0-4 Titans have Indy followed by @ NE. It's very possible they could be a shocking 0-6 in two weeks.

Tennessee could start 0-8

They are 0-4

Week#5 - vs Indianapolis
Week#6 - @ New England
Week#7 - vs Jacksonville (Jax crushed Tenn today)
Week#8 - @ San Francisco

How long before they are forced to bench Collins & give Vince Young a shot?

On draft day I was annoyed that we traded for Tennessee's pick ( thinking they would be at least 10-6 this year ) & wished we traded for Denver's pick instead.

Ouch.

OTOH, some rather prescient soul here had as his draft binky Carolina's first in 2010. . . .

Strength of Schedule, which is the second tiebreaker (after playoff status) in deciding draft position. Easier SOS picks earlier.

And, very quickly, it's simply [wins by all opponents (+ 1/2 x ties by all opponents)]/256, where division records count twice (b/c you play them twice).
