A note to commentors...before freaking out note that in 2007 we traded our 2nd (and 7th - horrors!) and 4th picks for Welker & Moss

34 out of 78 still in the nfl and you gotta figure most of the early decade picks have run there natueral course in hte NFL

BB has tremendous success in the early rounds, however he has struggled on WR's not named Branch or Givens.

No you don't. Sure they used their draft picks to acquire strong veterans in 07, but the actual players they drafted were horrific aside from Meriweather

The Colts and Steelers are better examples of teams that build through the draft, the Patriots don't draft well but they get good free agents that fit the team (usually)
