Default The official CALM THE HELL DOWN thread...

We lost, fair and square (mostly), to the better team today. The offense still needs to get their act together, they need to get Welker back and the OL needs to do a better job. The D, which we all worried about so much, did a solid job and will, one hopes, improve as much as possible until Mayo gets back and the youngsters/new vets get the system in their bones.

If you want to throw a hissy about Galloway being a waste of space, go right ahead. I understand. But this team just has to make the playoffs. By then it will look much different, and much better, than it does now. In the long run, there is NO REASON to worry about this team's ability to score points. They will score. A lot. Just not today, and that stinks and all, but in the grand scheme, we'll be okay. We shall overcome.

Agreed.

The defense played a pretty solid game. It was the O-Line that cost us the game today.

It's a Long season guys. No need for concern just yet.

Here, here, remember, the Jets just one "their" SuperBowl, so that's one less team to have to face...

Seriously though, it's freakin week 2, lots more football to be played...

To the bandwagon fans, the exit is that way ---------------->

This offseason, it's almost like Belichick is saying, "I'm never going to let that happen again."

Thank you. Its bad enough we have the Jet trolls crawling out of their holes, but we have to put up with the nervous nellies and bandwagon jumpers jumping off.

Very well said. I am certain we will learn a lot from this game and be the better team with the loss. We still have BB and Brady, and we are still in contention to go far season.

Great post - I was as frustrated as the next guy while watching the game. But reality is we lost, there is still a lot of football ahead of us. I'm not going to let it ruin the rest of my day.

I will say this - I was pretty sure we would tie the game at the end there. I'm always feeling pretty good when Tom Brady has the ball in his hands with 2 minutes to go no matter how the offense looked for the rest of the game. It just wasn't meant to be today.

With out the brady interception agaisnt the bills, the bills would only have scored 17. Today the pats held the jets to 16, so Iam feeling good about our defense.

Did you guys watch the same game as the rest of the world? Our defense was awful. Guyton is almost slower the Bruschi. We really need another MLB, Derrek Brooks, please?

Our O-line did the best they could, for as much as the Jets blitzed Brady didnt get sacked once. Welker not playing was such a big loss, Eidelman is no Welker but he had a solid game, the best on the team. Gallaway is a bust, he looks lost out there and Brady and him just havent clicked yet.

Not time to panic, yet as its only week 2, but it shows how much we need Mayo to return and Brady and the WRs to click.
