Tanguay says Bill Belichick and Rodney Harrison will be guests on their show (Tanguay and Zolak) this morning. Belichick scheduled to be on this hour; Rodney after noon.

Started out w/comments about the preseason golfing long-drive contest and how he would have beat Bruschi had he been there.

On Brady: said it took him four or five games before he was comfortable coming back from his injury. Said it will take a little time for Brady, getting hit, having to slide, etc., before he's fully back. Said TB is mentally tough and will be fine

Says he did want to become a referee but didn't see it happening at the NFL level. Said other than coaching, becoming an announcer is the best way to stay close to the game. Says it's a lot like playing because of preparation involved, trying to get better, etc.

Belichick on in ten minutes.

Says he really likes the Pats safety position this year
