Default Patrick Chung on Video

YouTube - Patrick Chung I see a young Rodney Harrison more and more.

The young man is obviously very intelligent and loves the game of football. And he knows to say "sir." Listen to the end of the interview, which occurred before the draft.

It reminded me of Harrison famously doing it to Belichick.

I think we have a great young man who is another piece of the puzzle to improve the defense. Last year, it was Jerod Mayo. This year it's Patrick Chung.

It's good to be a Patriots fan, and I expect this guy to start this year. He's a first-round talent (like the DB from Conn. we nabbed) that we can pay second round pay to.

I don't think he will be able to start as quickly as Mayo but I can definitely see him starting opposite Meriweather by mid-season, leaving James Sanders to rotate at each position. Chung will contribute on special teams from opening day.

I just wish we had Chung last year to make the hit on Dustin Keller on that 3rd and 16 play in OT vs the Jets

What I like about Patrick Chung is his abiltiy to take one much bigger player as shown in the following youtube video. It's 1:15 into this highlight video on a Matt Harper interception return where you'll see Chung (#15) block two Michigan offensive

This may sound stoopid, but watch the eye contact he has with the interviewer... that's an intelligent and confident young man right there.
