Default For all the cap/CBA experts...

Lets say things get bad and there is a time period where there is no CBA governing the signing of players.

A team signs a player to a 10m $/4 year contract, pays 8m up front, and a salary of 500K per year.

CBA comes back. Minimum vet salary is set at 1m (for arguments sake..and this player is considered a vet).

Is there any way of knowing at this point of time how this and similar contracts are/will be/could be accounted for under a new CBA?
