Default Cards were able to get even us to pull up

For a team that has been pretty constant the last few years in "running it up" the Cards were actually able to get even us to pull up a little.

What he meant to say was, "I can't believe the Cardinals played so terribly that even the Patriots didn't need to run up the score on them."

This is the year. We put our failures in the past, it's a new year, a new defense. It's time to prove to the league that the Patriots are back and aren't going anywhere and they will be the last ones standing in Feb.
Update: Well that didn't work out as I had planned. Next year baby, next year 19-0 we go. Next year.

I think he meant to say "let up".

I don't think they let up. I think they just stopped scoring once the backups were in

again there is no such thing as running up the score. If multimillionares can stepoff the bus and play like school boys with no interest, they deserve to be beat down.

Keep telling yourself that. Let's see if you sing the same tune once a game like the Chargers happens to us. Remember that? Down by multiple scores, 4th and 1 in the red zone, Rivers wants to go for it (the touchdown instead the field goal) and Turner says no. I'll bet you won't be saying "well, we deserved to get humiliated in front of a national audience because the team doesn't look like they care".
