Default I can't wait for...

................the return of Brady and hopefully the F U touchdown next year. I know BB probably doesn`t think like this, but I hope he keeps a mental list of all the players and coaches running off at the mouth or taking cheap shots and just blows the doors off of teams next year.

I would be happy for a 2004 season and a bunch of 17-14 wins. I don't think this team is going to be favored next year so I think the scoring you speak of is a thing of the past.

I don't think Brady will be fully ready to throw 40+ TDs in his 1st season back from such a major surgery. We'll be lucky if he's truly game ready by Week 1 next year.

BTW, with this defense, we made need the so called F U TD just to win the game.

wouldnt it be the greatest thing if his first play back was a play action pass to moss for like 70 yards? I'd probably cry actually. Hope week 1 is a home game..imagin that crowd when he walks back on the feild?

And after the score, can Brady then go play defensive back for us, as that's our glaring weakness this year, not QB?

Yeah, a lot of teams are enjoying these wins right now and forgetting we lost the best player in the league - you know, the 2008 MVP. This season is almost over, it won't be long until Brady is back and the league will have to gulp and realize they had their year of fun.

We'll just have to see how things go with respect to the infection. If it clears then Brady is well on schedule. If not and it has to be re-done then it's a tight schedule but still the same as Phillip Rivers who is having by far his best year this year.

You don't think putting 30+ points up in every game would make a little difference ? It's a lot easier being a DB with a 14-0 lead and having more margin for error.

I do, and I can see what you're saying. But for all of the big lead, easy games last year, in the end it came down to our defense in a really tight game, and our defense came up wanting.

And comparing last year's team to the ones that won Super Bowls, I believe that the defense has been the difference that pushed us over. I honestly think we would be in control of the AFC East and bucking for a bye right now if our defense was playing anywhere close to '03-'04 standards, even without Brady.

So yeah, right now, I'd rather have a solid DB. Or a better pass rusher.

You'd take a "solid DB or better pass rusher" over Brady ???

Wow.

Look, I think Brady is one of the greatest, if not greatest, QB ever. He was clearly the MVP of last season, and he has kept us in games we had no right being in, but I'm not sure right here or right now that he would be enough of a difference in getting us to the playoffs or deep into the playoffs.

As we've often told Colts fans, one guy, even a Peyton Manning, doesn't win a Super Bowl. A team does. And right now, our team, on one side of the ball, looks awful. So yeah, right now I'd rather have someone fixing that side of the team rather than making our already good offense better.
