Default Pats will run table

Hopefully for you guys my Steelers will beat the Ravens. The Ravens have owned us in Baltimore so no promises here. I think you will get in.

2 Questions: 1.) Who has the tiebreaker between Pats and Jets?
2.) Why was that Slaten guy returning that kick?

1) It is still up in the air. Division record, common games, and conference games are still to be played.

2) Because somebody without oil on their hands wasn't available.

I actually think you guys may have won without that miscue.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, I guess.

Seriously, though, that's the thing about football--it's not like basketball, where you can change one possession without radically changing the rest of the game. It certainly didn't help the Pats' chances, though.

Sorry, but I think the last possession of the first half and the first possession of the second half were the downfall of the Pats. Not scoring a TD to go up by 7 and then missing a chip shot to end the half and then laying an egg coming out in the 2nd. Pats should have been up by 7 or 10 points before the Steelers even had the ball, instead, tied and down hill from there.......

A sarcastic Bill Belichick on Tom Brady's finger injury, "It's not life threatening."

You are right. I guess the miscue I pointed out was the final straw.

Sorry that it is a bit off the topic, but I could not start a new thread.

To run the table, everything should work well. My concern is, Ghost missed 27 yards field goal. Is it just bad wet day, or is it related to the accident from the previous game? Light and Crowder fight almost injured Ghost. He said during postgame interview last week that he makes long follow-through after the kick. Ok, my point is, if you happen to have any fear that you might get hurt during the kick, it would affect the mechanic, no matter how trivial it is.

I just hope it does not bother him. But, who knows.

Could anyone start new thread on this topic? Thanks...

Jesus jump to conclusions much? How the hell do you come up with the fact that Ghost is hurt because he missed one FG???? Good lord, people need to think before they post.

He missed it wide right by 5 feet in a crappy, wet day. It happens unfortunately.

Rds, I think it is you that need to think. I am not saying he is injured. You do not understand the mental effect on the game. If he HAS fear that he might be injured, which is reasonable assumption from the previous accident, it may affect the mechanic. It is different that he is actually injured.
