Gunnails...don't even think about deserting this board.I hate the Jets, theri fans suck...blah blah blah...you thought the Jets would win by three ..intelligent breakdown. You were right...props. I don't like Jets fans who blabber Patriot hate out of low intelligence analysis. Tonight I finally realized BB IS agenius and Cassel was a better pick than Palmer and the other pretty boy. Heart gut and, 4 seconds left, the tying TD...by a rook who never played. This why BB drafted him and refused to bow to all the preseason flack.. the KID has it...what all the great QB's have,,,ice in the veins in the highest position. Noway this kid is doing this off preseason. One thing the Pats prize is a psychological strength to perform under pressure...Brady showed, Drewpy always cracked. Cassel has bad touch on those long sideline aptterns...Moss was an easy TD tonight...Christ, Brady never threw more than fiftenn yards when he broke in...but 4 seconds left? down seven? Think SF.Cards....Cassel showed me tonight...THAT'S a QB's best asset..make the play under the ultimate pressure. No wonder Pioli and BB scoffed at all the cries of doom and gloom this summer..sure he looked ordinary his first game, held the ball too long, didn't move up into the pocket...blah blash blah...well, it's freaking a few week s later, he's moving perfectly in the pocket, using the exact right times to run, hje's qiock...and when the game and everyone wayching is thinking oh my god what will Cassel do....yeah, perfect pass to Moss..tie game we lose on a coin flip...and Matt still has a ton of work to get his long fly paterns timng down...but this kid id the real deal..tremendous scouting development and confidence in the face of vicious media pressure.

BTW we hold the points tiebreaker on the Jets...Miami is the scary game since they destroyed us. Brady always plays horrible there. If Cassel plays mistake free, with Morris back, and Warren and Mayo seeing that wacky special offense a second timeall we need is Woods to protect the edge and rush Penningto through the gaps..if Cassel doesn't ahe Beady disease will vould strangle them..we better anyway or it's draft talk time

My first immediate thought is how the hell can the Refs blow so many calls and sleep at night without feeling guilty?

My second thought is that, the Pats are going to terrorize opposing teams should they get to the play-offs.

OH. and where the hell was the "Law Firm?" Seriously. The Pats game plan was pretty flawed when it came to the running game, other than the one play that the Jets kept falling for that allowed Cassel 9-15 yards per run.

Also, where the hell was the motion by Welker and Moss? Moss has had some of his best catches running slants or ins underneath. Also, had they swapped Watson for Moss on the Middle out patterns, Randy probably would have had several of those taht Watson didn't get to.

Here's my thoughts.

MangIdiot needed a coin flip going his way to beat the Patriots 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stringers.

The Jets needed not only a win, but a convincing win. They didn't get it, and MangIdiot's job is still very much on the line.

I see the Jets having significantly LESS confidence in themselves and their coach following this game.

I see the Patriots having signficantly MORE confidence in themselves and their coach to overcome a signficant deficit.

If the coin lands heads we're celebrating a major win today.

How could you be impressed by Brett and Ty Law. They were pedestrian at best. Law "held Moss in check" because he only had to worry about the underneath and was basically mauling him at that line.

Favre wasn't all that impressive, unless you consider him disappearing for most of 2 quarters to be impressive.

Yeah I can see the players on the Jets team asking themselves.....well a win is a win....but we almost lost to the Pats with all of their injuries.....

Imagine if you will, if the tables were turned and the Jets had all of the injuries we had....and we were going into last nights game with the same records.....and we almost loose to them.....

I was impressed that Law even made the field, he was able to contribute, I never thought after being on the team for only less then a week that he would. He was in shape also.

Favre,,, no way we win this game with Lion Heart, Favre got it done.

I am a happy man today, and my dog has a belly ache from all the treats.
