This week didn't produce as many surprises as you might think. PATRIOT64 and PATRIOTSFANINPA were 8 points off the final score, to tie for second place. But last year's 2nd place finisher Bostonian1962 beat them by a field goal for his second career weekly win (first was week 9 last year).

Lots of ups and downs in the season rankings this week. JSn had been coasting in 1st place off his week 1 perfect score, but is still near the top in 8th place. Bostonian1962 used his win this week to take over first place all the way from 14th, and AFPatsFan12's steady play has him tied for first as well. chris_in_sunnyvale rose 27 spots into 5th place, but that was just a minor rise compared to PATRIOTSFANINPA (+40), IndianPat (+41), Calhoun44 (+41), shakadave (+43) and PATRIOT64 (+50!)

But in reality, picking against the Pats isn't the same as not being a Pats fan. I would think a lot less of you if I found you had picked the Pats to win every game back in 1990 under Rod Rust's unrivalled leadership

I see, and I think most people also see, this thread as a fun test of prediction skill, no matter if the prediction differs from what they'd like.
