IF he was an opening day starter... he would have been benched by now. Why does he get special treatment becuase he's already a backup.

Bulger has been benched, and other QBs have been benched... and their stats are comparable or better than Cassel's...

Is it possible to merge the 'This is embarrassing' and 'Can't wait till next season' threads in here with em?

How many of those benched QB's have a 3-2 record?

No, there won't be millions of them.

He's benched after the Denver game at the latest.

and the coach got fired the next week....
why cant we be realistic with the kid. he is a backup to tom brady not brady. if anything thinks o'connell can do something in the rookie season behind this line and this defense they are in for a surprise.
it isnt the same as flacco with ravens D.

Sure, why not, but who's gonna play?
The rookie? Does it matter that much?

the season is pretty much over so i don't see what benching cassel is going to do. if anything, it gives him a year of experience going into the 09' in case TB gets injured again.

cassel sucks but it has nothing to do with how bad our defense is. can not having asante samuel back there really be the big difference?

the players seem to have given up on the season as well. there's no fire. randy is dogging it, knowing well that cassel sucks and that the team will likely be 3rd or 4th in the division.

Cassel misses a wide open Watson for a TD to end the game.

PATHETIC.
