Thumbs up Jamie Silva?

Hey all you BC Eagles fans...with Bob Sanders out for 4-6 weeks, could this be a break for Jamie Silva. He was one of the last cuts and was impressive in the pre-season. Last I knew, he was on the PS. Anybody have any info?

He is on the PS but looked good in preseason. Hard hitter and nice hair. You may see him on special teams though.

But, Bullitt is Sanders backup who filled in for him in the 4th Sunday and will start in place of him.Giordano is next in line as Bethea's backup.

Jamie is definately deep down on the Colts Safety food chain, but atleast he's there. I watched him twice in pre-season and he was an animal on ST and played very well at saftey, had some big hits and like usual was around the football alot, much like at BC. I'm pulling for Jamie, I was hoping BB signed him here, local kid and all, just didn't work out and he ended up in Indy.

Once Jamie gets his chance and he gets out on the field, that dude isn't going back to any practice squad, he's stickin on the 53 !

I really liked what I saw from him. But, the hair is distracting. They said he was heartbroken to hear he was put on the PS but understood. He may come off it now though.

I have no issue with Jamie's hair, I like it, it will end up being his signature much like Polamalu and Sanders.

I was a classmate of Silva's at BC, same with Cherilus. Seems like a good kid. Hell of a player. I'm glad he's made it to the pros.
