Default Let me be the first...

Let me be the first to formally go on record with my prediction for the SB43 MVP....

Matt Cassel!

When he wins it, I am bumping this thread and you can all pay homage to my vastly superior wisdom!

And if he doesn't I'll bump it. I'm setting a futuremail to remind me to do so now.

I'm with ya man. The Patriots will still win the Superbowl with Matt Cassel as their QB. We have a solid defense that got a lot younger this year, 3 good RB's and the best WR's in the league. Matt Cassel is going to surprise a lot of people.

This is going to a fun year. Do you people realize just how much it is going to piss everyone off when they see us win the SB even after our HOF QB goes down? Everyone has written us off. I can't wait to see their faces when we keep winning. This could be the most satisfying SB of all.

The best part will be seeing all the fair weather fans jump off the bandwagon. More room for the rest of us to stretch out.

I couldn't agree more. This team could theoretically go from the best passing team to the best running team now. I must correct you though, we have 4 good Rb's (Maroney, Morris, Faulk and Jordan). Cassel just needs to manage the game and the D will do their job as well.

What are the chances that O'Connell is used to throw a few wrinkles at the opposing D's from time to time, a la Tebow as a freshman at Florida?

You guys rock. Tonight I realized what I am. A New England Patriots Fan.
Not just a TB fan. Not a bandwagoner (though I was born there). Not even just fan of the deadliest offense in the NFL. An NEP fan and darn proud of it.

Time to hope the best for TB and to look for the team to win it all in honour of Brady. If he's out for the season, so be it. Let the fields be ripe for the picking as BB unearths another amazing QB (Cassell or O'Connell after some heat) and a boggles minds yet again.

Let's remember this: Cassell didn't come in to keep Tom fresh after the team was winning. He came in and won put those points up (through drives, passes or hand-offs).

Ok, I'm done. Thanks for not giving up, guys.
