With just $4 Mil of cap space and no first round draft picks until sometime next century, I imagine that Dan Snyder is hoping that RGIII's surgery was successful.

look at all the space cleveland and cincy and indy have. How'd they do that? Must be a lot of good players on their teams becoming UFAs?

Sign Hartline, Jarius Byrd, Edelman, Talib and rookies and let vollmer and welker go. That's about all they can do.

Knew it was a big mistake signing mankins to a huge contract. They didn't miss much when he was out.

I wonder if Cleveland would make a run at Wes Welker. They have Josh Gordon as a deep threat and Trent Richardson running the ball. They need a TE and a slot guy....and possibly a QB but WW would help Weeden's development. Their defense is pretty solid.

So how does this all work with the new CBA? Aren't all NFL teams supposed to spend to 98% of the cap?

Baltimore $1.2M $15.7M
Flacco is asking for far more than 15.7M per year.

They're welcome to him, at 9M a year or whatever he wants. Not sure how they got all that room, I thought the rule was you had to spend a minimum % of the cap, like 80% or something.

Jake Long will take a chunk of that Miami money. Hartline will probably stay as they have the dollars.
