After reading the posts on here: seriously people, be better fans. Half of you guys have no business rooting for a football team. Yeah, they got thoroughly outplayed and lost. It really sucks, and I don't like it any more than anyone else does, but it is what it is. Go chug some beers, get laid or something, and chill the **** out. Maybe some of you should consider becoming 49ers fans or something. Most of you won't be missed.

  1. Time to make J McD the HC and kick BB to the golf course
  2. Brady has become a playoff choker. Let's trade him while we can.
  3. Wes is old and slow, like most Pats receivers.
  4. The team is soft and easily dominated by physical teams
  5. The Ravens did this team a favor because 49ers would have blown them out

Discuss!

Default Two questions

1. What was the crowd cheering toward the end? It sounded like I was watching a futbol game.

2. I don't mean to be a dick when I ask this but did I miss a bunch of camera shots or did not only Brady but the entire team look glum, deflated, almost apathetic as early as the third quarter when they were still winning the game? Jesus Christ, it was like they knew they were going to lose. The last few years it's gotten to the point where I know their odds of winning the game are immense when Brady's doing fist pumps and stuff, and when he's all quiet and morose I expect them to lose.

Default After Talib went down, and Arrington took over, Patriots were done..

Again, the pass rush of NE could not get to Flacco, consistenly. With that, Flacco threw 20+ yd completions.

Turning point was the 3rd down, where Welker was free and tried to catch the ball with his helmet!

Signed-sealed and delivered to Ravens, when Ridley head-butted, and dropped the ball for a turnover.

===========

Now, the off-season has started. What are the most pressing needs?

IMO - The defense is still shaky. It really needs to revamp. Talib is good, but he is oft injured and not reliable. That is the most pressing need, a shutdown CB that is man-man. Defense is a must to improve for 2013 season.

On the WRs, we really need a guy like Torrey/Boldin, meaning a guy that can jump and get the ball...

Sigh

No one in this thread can tell that the patriots aren't finesse.

The patriots get beat by teams that can push them around.

Pats only have themselves to blame

Still a good season. Tough to win playoff games in the NFL, you need the ball to bounce your way and today, everything bounced the Ravens way.

Next two weeks will be intolerable with the Ravens, Ray Ray, Harbaughs, etc. I"ll avoid all cable sport shows.

Time to turn to the draft and begin the planning for the next QB of the Pats (may not be next year but will be sooner than most of us wish). May not be a good idea to trade Mallet.

It's time to say **** it and draft a speedy, tall, 1st round WR.

I hope Bolden can beat out Ridley for the starting job, talk about overrated.

Please resign Talib

You had the first part correct. "Pains me to watch Brady try and compete deep in the playoffs". His regular season MVP / playoffs choke job has been an annual event for nearly a decade now.

I would love to say that we played well and that there is always next season.
However, we didn't play well and we are running out of next seasons with Tom Brady as our QB. Disappointed is all I can say for a team that i thought really had what i took to get a ring.

Oh and i hope Welker is gone cause this game proved to me that he is extremely overrated.
