A relatively quiet morning with not much going on, but here this morning's top stories:

BOSTON HERALD:

Patriots have work to do on defense - Jeff Howe - Howe has a good look a the defense, with some suggestions of who he believes may fit here in New England once the free agent market opens.

BOSTON GLOBE:

Bill Belichick defines value differently than others - Erik Frenz - Frenz has an entry with some quotes from former Cleveland Browns general manager Phil Savage, who was a defensive assistant under Belichick in the mid nineties. He pointed out that Belichick projected players by their ability, not by what round they'd be selected in.

ESPN BOSTON:

Free-agent fit: Defensive tackle - Mike Reiss - Reiss takes a look at some potential free agent fits at the defensive tackle position.
