Here's a quick rundown of the newest headlines from around the internet this morning:

BOSTON HERALD:

Callahan: Harsh reality is Tim Tebow can’t play - Gerry Callahan - Callahan has a pretty harsh article this morning with his thoughts on Tim Tebow, and obviously he's not a fan.

Rob Gronkowski on track for September - Karen Guregian - Guregian writes that Rob Gronkowski's rehab seems to be going well and that he could be back as soon as week 3 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Brandon Spikes, Adrian Wilson hit it off - Jeff Howe - Howe has an article focused in on these two players, and writes The Patriots are planning to heighten the nasty factor on defense this season.

Bill Belichick looks beyond numbers - Adam Kirkjian - Kirkjian has some comments from Belichick yesterday on Tim Tebow and says he looks beyond the numbers in judging the back up quarterback's performance.

Lions Line a Tough Test - Jeff Howe - Howe looks at Detroit's defensive Lions, which should be an interesting match-up this week.

BOSTON GLOBE:

Zach Sudfeld will get a chance to shine if Rob Gronkowski is out Week 1 - Erik Frenz - Frenz looks at Sudfeld's performance and the similarities between what he did against the Buccaneers and how he'll be able to fit in while Gronkowski is out.

Breaking down the Patriots’ top position battles - Ben Volin - Volin looks at the top position battles going on so far in training camp, with a good breakdown of each one.

Gostkowski is Hard on Himself - Zuri Berry - Berry has comments from Gostkowski, who has struggled a bit as of late.

ESPNBOSTON:

Leftovers from Patriots practice - Mike Reiss - Reiss has notes from yesterday's practice with a lot of interesting bits of information in this entry.

NESN:

Kenbrell Thompkins, Patriots’ Rookie Receivers Continue to Impress Tom Brady - Luke Hughes - Hughes has an article on Brady, who has liked what he's seen so far from his rookie wideouts

“They’ve got a lot of opportunity, that’s the thing,” Brady said after practice on Monday. “The more opportunity, the better you get. They had a lot of opportunity the other night [against the Buccaneers], KT (Kenbrell Thompkins) and Aaron [Dobson] and Josh [Boyce] at the receiver position, with Danny [Amendola], what Julian [Edelman]’s been able to do coming back from his injury, and [Zach] Sudfeld, he’s had a lot of opportunity. Guys are trying to make the most of it, find their role, and as you see on a daily basis, guys that keep making plays keep making plays. You love seeing that."

WEEI.COM:

Amendola misses first Pats practice - Mike Petraglia - Petraglia has an entry on Danny Amendola, who missed yesterday's practice.  Petraglia points out that  the team is not required to announce practice reports until the season begins so there will be no official word from the Patriots if injury was the reason for the absence.

Confidence Game: Measuring Tom Brady's Comfort Level with his Pass Catchers - Christopher Price - Price has an interesting read, measuring each receiver on a scale of 0 to 100.

PATCH.COM:

13 Arrested During Patriots-Bucs Game, Five More After the Game - Michael Hardman - Hardman points out that apparently some fans were arrested last Friday night after the game.
