The report stated the following: “According to NFL Network’s Jason LaCanfora, Tom Brady won’t sign a long-term contract with the Pats until Peyton Manning gets a new deal with the Colts.”

And that’s not what he said – so the report is inaccurate.

As a result there are many who will read the report posted on the site and misinterpret it incorrectly – which is exactly what happened in our forum. Needless to say it’s not exactly like I’m incorrect in how fans can did interpret it.

So it’s not a case of sour grapes. Since this is a blog – this entry is different from an actual article and is an area where I think it’s fair to state an opinion. If you’re from Rotoworld and you’re not happy with what I wrote, I guess I can’t help you there. However, considering that their audience is fairly large (again – their widget is everywhere) I think they need to do a better job of checking the headlines before they’re posted there to prevent similar occurrences.

Regarding your final statement, if you feel the need to take me to task and bring any of these entries ‘to justice on the PatsFans.com boards’ – each one of these entries triggers a post, which appears on the forum. Since registration is free you can feel free to register and post a reply to any post in question and state your side of the argument.

So, it’s purely a case of sour grapes. It’s obvious you’d jump ship to Rotoworld if they offered you a job. So stop being a whiney punk ass.

As for “responsible journalism,” do you even know what that means? Try getting out there and getting an original news report — like trying to find out what’s up with Brady’s contract. Then talk.
