The Patriots put together a 5:39 drive which included a 3rd down conversion which came on the back of an illegal contact penalty against the Saints secondary (the only penalty of the first half so far) but they couldn't capitalize.

The good news is they got a 36-yard field goal by Stephen Gostkowski and if nothing else gave the defense a much needed rest.  They currently trail 17-10 with approximately 3 minutes left to go in the first half.
