Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe reported on Monday night that DL Kevin Carter will be visiting the Patriots in Foxboro on Tuesday.

FoxSports.com had reported earlier on Sunday that New England was interested in the 14-year veteran, but this report confirms that the team will indeed get a close-up look at the free agent defensive lineman. Carter has been exceptionally durable over the course of his career, and has never missed a game. He could provide some depth and experience behind Richard Seymour and Ty Warren.
