What does a Super Bowl 7 years ago have to do with Sunday?

Your “#1″ defense got lit up for 500 yards. What credit does one expect?

The game should have been a blowout. All one needed was a pulse to figure that one out.

As an outsider, you should understand that the fixation comes from this team losing in a very, very un-Patriot like manner.

All you east coasters who didn’t bother to get outraged when the refs admitted they blew the calls that cost us the Superbowl, definitely wouldn’t want to give the Seahawks team any credit.

Oh, wait, someone actually came to the game and did give grudging credit to the fans…I guess that’s something…

This game was totally on the offense and the coaches.

From the end of Q1 to mid Q4 the the defense was dominant. They also forced a fumble after the end zone INT debacle.

At some point, an NFL offense will be successful and having attended the game….the homefield advantage comes as advertised.

Let them hang and you got problems.

Also, I have never seen Brady so bad mechanically on so many throws. Was he even touched in the game?

Is the offense too much?

Agreed! Why not use the screen more? It seemed to be effective the few times they ran it.. and its good option to the run when your QB has a tired arm..

I thought the play calling was pretty suspect especially in the second half. Clearly running the ball wasn’t effective, ie. Brady throwing the ball 58 times, so why go to it so much in the last three possessions? They had plenty of opportunities to deliver the knockout punch in the second half and just couldn’t do it. Seattle had three possessions and three punts in the third quarter, but yet the Patriots only increased their lead from 17-10 to 20-10.

What did you think about the play calling and the game plan overall?

In the 4th qtr after the seahawks score a td on 4th down the pats had the ball with 7:20.. they finished the drive with a punt from their own 45?? With 4 min left.. Why would the pats want to burn so much time with only a 6 point lead. I felt strongly this was a point in the game where the offense needed to move quickly down the field and score…. they gave seattle the ball the opportunity to control the clock and score and win the game… which they bassicaly did..
