Good observations Russell. I'm not quite as concerned about our O-line as you though. Vollmer being back brings some depth, Light has an extra week to heal up his ankle, Solder doing a good job on the right side and then there's also Gronk #1 & 2 for pickups off the edge. Sure Baltimore and the Steelers can make for a long day with their D's but they always bring it against us... Bill and Co. usually make good schemes to try to counter. Really my #1 concern is the left side D... Specifically McCourty. I see his as being continually targeted. IMO, he allows too many catches (not physical enough) has sub-par tackling abilities and simply gets juked to much... Oh for the days of Assante Samuels. Any thoughts on McCourty? Also Faulk has been on PUP... So far not a word on him but I believe he will be eligible for return after the bye... always a threat and now that Brady has been taking more snaps from under center Faulks return would give him another comfortable option if things start to go bad right from the snap.

I think your concerns about the offensive line are valid. Any run to the Super Bowl through the AFC is going to mean dealing with several defenses who will bring crushing pressure on the Patriot backfield.
