It has been a long time coming, but here it is, my first blog entry. This first entry is going to be short and sweet just like the sweet tea I am sipping on, but I am going to check in weekly to share my thoughts about the season with my five things that I am looking forward to seeing each game.
My name is Diana, and I am from a small town called Plymouth, Connecticut. I come from a family full of Patriots fans. I have been pro Boston sports ever since I was a kid and grew up watching just about every Bruins game thanks to my dad. Amongst playing with barbies and being a cheerleader, I had a passion for football – Patriots football. I would watch every game I could and even fall asleep to Sportscenter. My goal is to become a sportscaster someday and hopefully be on sideline near you!
![]() I don’t care if Titans fans get offended when they see me wearing my Wes Welker Jersey on game days. |
As for right now, I am coming to you live from my laptop, and am in a place I never thought I would be, Nashville, TN. I’m now a displaced New Englander embarking on a new adventure in the land of the Tennessee Titans. This is my first season outside the comfort zone of Patriots banners, license plates and window clings. I am in Tennessee with my Connecticut plates (in Patriots trim) wearing my Patriots hat and still showing every ounce of Patriots pride around these Titans folks. My love for football is strong and the Patriots are my passion, so do not let the girly-girl image fool you. I can wear heels with my Wes Welker jersey if I want to! I’m kidding of course…although not about the Welker Jersey.
I am not a bandwagon fan or just a Tom Brady lover. I know my stuff and have been loyal even going back to the Drew Bledsoe era. Whether it be improvements or praise, I will highlight my concerns and profess my love for the team that will always have my heart. With the preseason behind us, we are now just a week away from the regular season and I could not be happier.
Well, NFL Live is calling my name. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to being in touch with all of you soon!

Really impressed and soo proud!! This girl knows her stuff sports fans so make sure to favorite this site and check back weekly! I know I am! I may not be a fan of her Boston teams but I am a big fan of hers and you should be too!! Can’t wait for next week when the games start and to read up on what Miss D has to say!! God bless dollface and lots of love!!
Diana – Like you, I am a displaced Pats fan. However, I am in the Cowboys country of TEXAS.
I look forward to seeing more from your blog.
NICE start D. Miss you at Obar. Jimmy
Diana,
It is great to see a new blogger on board. I look forward to reading your posts from someone living in Titans territory.
I am sure you know your stuff and will be interested to see what you write.
Hi Diana,
I’ve been living in Nashville for about 15 years. Don’t worry about the Titans fans. The only thing I ever hear out of them is that we’re fans of cheaters. They know very little about football, and I can usually shut them up in about 10 seconds. lol. Every week i take the stage wearing a Pats jersey, and it always drives the Titans fans nuts. Its quite comical to hear the applause for my singer, and then the boos for my jersey. lol. If you need any info on where to watch a Pats game, or anything for that matter, just send me a message. Enjoy Nashville, and GO PATS!
I applaud your Patriotism. I can understand the feeling of being a born yankee in the land of dixie. Keep holding it down for New England. Great job on the Blog. I am looking forward to hearing more of your experiences. Oh and if you do decide on the Welker Jersey with heals, Please share a Pic..LOL!..
Your Amazing..Keep Up the Good Work!

so proud of you!!!!
Welcome Diana,
As I read this “blog” I came to notice this was more of a biography. But I guess we all have to introduce ourselves somtime. But considering your favorite team has been playing for the past 4 weeks, how come you haven’t written the scoop about their progress? Their wins, their losses, or even this weeks game predictions. I’m sure you have things lines up, but my suggestion is not to write about yourself, but to the point. If people are interested in you, they’ll ask. Get right to the point. You say your not a “bandwagon fan” that “you know your stuff”…well start blogging your knowledge, it will only make people wanna read more.
