PATRIOTS PRESEASON SCHEDULE in 2011

Aug. 11-15 -- vs. Jaguars (time TBA)
Aug. 18-22 -- at Buccaneers (time TBA)
Aug. 27 -- at Lions (8 p.m., CBS)
Sept. 1-2 -- vs. Giants (time TBA)

More specific dates and starting times for games one, two, and four will be announced at a later date. The third preseason match-up against the Detroit Lions on August 27, is scheduled to be a nationally-televised game (8 p.m, CBS). Of course, this schedule is dependent on a resolution to the NFL lockout situation. I also would be hesitant to set any games in stone in a manor of speaking because, the preseason could be shortened or postponed. Regardless, a very underwhelming schedule in terms of opponents. Never the less, I am sure all fans would love to see football being played on schedule.
