As first reported by Brian Mcintyre, then confirmed by the Patriots, the team has waived defensive lineman Atiyyah Ellison. The Pats had signed Ellison on Wednesday last week. The Patriots had to make a roster move by Jan. 10, when roster exemption for Brandon Spikes was set to expire. Spikes, returning from a four game suspension, practiced with the team last week. The roster is now at 53 and set for the playoffs.
