*In just about three weeks of covering Pro Day events throughout the country, since the Combine, our staff has compiled nearly 425 results, including almost 290 in just the last week of updates, not including the ones that appear in today's report.

*If any/all of your clients have setup private visits/workouts leading up to the draft we are creating a chart for that as well, since it has been requested.

*Those prospects who have had or currently have any type of medical issues if you would like to pass along updates/reports on their status, please email those to our attention.

*If you would like to include any/all Pro Day results, updates or information, please send it to [email protected] or 504.415.9979 before 7pm eastern each day for inclusion in the next day's report.

PRO DAY SCHEDULE & NEWS FOR THIS WEEK:

UT-CHATTANOOGA senior wide receiver ALONZO NIX and SOUTHERN U. senior cornerback/return man KEVIN MOFFETT received late clearance from both the NCAA and Southern Mississippi athletic department to perform for scouts/coaches prior to the school's Pro Day, which is scheduled for 12 noon later today (March 23rd)... they are both from nearby Laurel, Mississippi... the pre-Pro Day workout is scheduled to begin at 8AM... anyone who arrives late or would like to receive the full results of their workout can contact us at [email protected] or call (504) 415.9979 during the day, as we will have someone on-site throughout the day.

USC (March 23rd) senior safety JASON LEACH will be working out for teams at the school's Pro Day starting later this morning (11am)... he's expected to run in the mid-4.5's and do 20-22 reps of 225 pounds, as well.

UCLA (March 24th) senior cornerback MATT CLARK will be working out for teams again on March 24th at the Home Depot Center, as part of Hawaii's Pro Day... he ran last week at his own Pro Day, but was still suffering from the effects of strep throat.

LOUISVILLE (March 25th) senior defensive lineman BOBBY LEFFEW, senior linebacker ROBERT MCCUNE and senior cornerback ANTOINE HARRIS are just three of the draft-eligible prospects that will be participating in the school's second Pro Day to be held on March 25th (Friday)... senior outside linebacker/defensive end MARCUS JONES is also likely to be available for workouts... FYI... GEORGETOWN, KY senior offensive lineman CLAY MARTIN, who grew up 10-20 minutes from the school's campus, would be eligible for this Pro Day if any/all interested teams would contact the school's football office about clearing him for the workout.

VIRGINIA STATE (March 25th) senior defensive lineman NEIL PURVIS will be working out on March 25th (Friday) at James Madison's Pro Day, as there were several scheduling conflicts for scouts coming to his own workout... besides his positional workout he would also liked to have his short and long snaps timed.

WISCONSIN-LACROSSE (March 25th) senior linebacker DUSTIN POWELL, senior fullback/running back MATT PAGEL, senior offensive lineman/tight end ANDREW MCGLENN and senior wide receiver SCOTT BURZNOWSKI will be available to workout at the school's second Pro Day on March 25th (Friday) starting at 1:30pm... please contact the respective agents or head coach Larry Terry for more information.

Former OHIO STATE (March 31st) running back MAURICE CLARETT will be holding a private workout on March 31st (not April 1st) starting at 1:30pm... it is scheduled for Deemer Park, which has a track and field for additional drills... located near Warren High School... please contact his agent for more information.

CINCINNATI (April 4th) senior linebacker JAMAR ENZOR, who tweaked his hamstring at the Combine, will be available to workout for scouts on April 4th... still rehabbing the hamstring, but expects to time between 4.5-4.55 in the 40... senior defensive end/linebacker TRENT COLE will also be participating at the school's second Pro Day... at least ten teams have already responded to the scheduling of this event... please contact their respective agents for more information... also, teams would be wise to request an additional 40-time on senior safety DOUG MONAGHAN, as he his times were reported anywhere from 4.65 or above... but a few teams have said they had him much faster (4.55)... conditions and field surface have led to a high discrepancy in his reported times.

KANSAS STATE (April 4th) senior tight end BRIAN CASEY will be holding a private workout at nearby Velocity Sports (Indoor Complex) on April 4th (Monday). Please contact his agent for more information.

PRO DAY UPDATES (Through March 22nd):

GEORGIA (March 22nd) junior safety/linebacker THOMAS DAVIS ran between 4.48 and 4.55 in the 40... did positional drills with the linebackers... also did some DB drills... still a 50/50 gauge of teams that prefer him at safety or linebacker... senior wide receiver REGGIE BROWN ran between 4.42 and 4.45 in the 40... some had him as fast as 4.39... senior wide receiver FRED GIBSON ran between 4.45 and 4.48 in the 40... some had him as fast as 4.42... junior linebacker ODELL THURMAN ran between 4.58 and 4.62 in the 40... some had him as fast as 4.55... has previously had private workouts with Green Bay and New England... will visit Chicago, Jacksonville and Seattle over the next few weeks... while Miami will come to work him out at the school next Wednesday... senior defensive end DAVID POLLACK did not run the 40-yard dash today, but did positional drills, as both a DE and LB... WILLIAM PENN, IA (March 22nd) senior tight end ANDREW STOKES (#8) ran between 4.71 and 4.75 in the 40... some had him with faster times... 4.20 short shuttle... 6.98 three-cone... 34" vertical... 9'11" broad jump and also did 22 reps of 225 pounds... weighed in at 6042, 253 pounds... a total of seven teams were in attendance, as Miami led the way with three representatives.

Atlanta, Dallas, Minnesota, New Orleans and San Diego have all paid close attention to his workouts.

CALIFORNIA senior defensive end/linebacker RYAN RIDDLE has been getting additional attention from Chicago, New England and Philadelphia... he is seen as a guy that can convert back to OLB after having played defensive end in college... most teams want to use him at SLB in a 4-3 or OLB in 3-4... and he can come up to the LOS and put his hand down on passing downs in a 4-3.

FRESNO STATE junior safety JAMES SANDERS ran mid-to-late 4.5's during a recent private workout held earlier this week... weighs 5106, 214 pounds... had time between 4.58 and 4.65 in the 40 at his Pro Day on March 4th.

SAGINAW VALLEY STATE senior offensive lineman TODD HERREMANS, who we reported on in yesterday's report, has scheduled five private visits, and will also have 6 or 7 private workouts with offensive line coaches... his tweaked hamstring from his Pro Day might keep him from running the 40-yard dash again, but not from doing positional drills for anyone interested in working him out.

STANFORD senior linebacker DAVID BERGERON has been drawing additional attention from Philadelphia, San Diego and San Francisco.

NFL DRAFT NEEDS OUTLOOK:

Besides reviewing what each NFL team has done so far in the opening weeks of free agency it is equally important to breakdown each team's roster in search of players they hope will step up their role, and see additional time on the field before fully realizing what the primary "Draft Needs" of each squad will be. Here is a look at some of the players that NFL teams expect to take a more prominent role in 2005, so while the position might be considered a "Need" area by some outsiders those in the know will have a much better read on what each team might do come draft day.
