FOXBORO, MA -- The Patriots returned to practice for the first time on Wednesday as they get set to travel to Chicago to take on the Bears this weekend.
New England will be looking to break the .500 mark after rebounding from their four game losing streak with a 38-7 rout of the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The team also released their injury report and safety Victor Green (leg) is the newest player on the list listed as "Questionable" for the upcoming game. LB Larry Izzo (leg), CB Ben Kelly (ankle), and LB Mike Vrabel (arm) are also listed as questionable.
BEARS STRUGGLING
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick acknowledged on Wednesday that with the way the Bears are struggling as of late, he expects them to come out and play as hard as New England did against Buffalo on Sunday. "They're obviously in a tough stretch right now," said Belichick. "Something that if anyone can relate to it we can with the way we approached the Buffalo game last week. To me this is the kind of game that I'm expecting from Chicago out there."
CLUB SEATS? PLEASE.....
For any of those fans who attend games at Gillette Stadium who have noticed those seats are empty the majority of time, Providence Journal writer Jim Donaldson said it best in His Column in today's paper. "The best fans do not occupy the best seats," wrote Donaldson who noticed that most of the club seat owners were sitting inside enjoying the many amenities of the posh Stadium Club watching the game when the team battled Denver recently. "You want to find real fans, go to the end zones, not to the club seats or the luxury boxes. Real fans do not sit inside when their team is playing. If all you want to do is eat and drink while watching the game in cozy comfort -- stay home!"
