Remember back to the first half of our glorious superbowl victory? New England's secondary took names and asked questions at half time. This year could be a 16 game version of that first half. With Harrison already smacking teammates around in camp, I can only imagine what opposing receivers are thinking about running routes across the middle. Lawyer Milloy already has a reputation as large as Harrison's. The two of them account for 430 lbs. of pure terror for any receiver to envision. The true question isn't so much if anyone is going to get flattened, it is who wants some first.
Christian Fauria accounted for 7 TD's last year with only 208 total receiving yards. If this isn't the pure definition of a redzone vulture, I don't know what is. Daniel Graham was used sparingly due to plaguing injuries, but still amassed 150 yards off 15 receptions. Now Graham is 100% and has the tutorial help of Mark Bavaro. That should scare some folks in the AFC East. At 253 pounds Daniel has surprisingly shown great hands and the power to move people out of his way. We Patriot fans already know this though. We remember this kid getting the best TE award in his final college year over Jeremy Shockey. If Graham can play to the potential Belickick saw when he drafted him, Brady should be licking his chops. New England hasn't seen a go to tight end of this caliber since Ben Coates was in blue and silver. These two Colorado alumni are going to be the chain movers Brady has needed for some time.
It doesn't matter what excites you most about the Patriots and the upcoming season. Just as long as you can feel the excitement!!!
